What Does God Say About Me

After years of negative self-talk and thinking my life was worth nothing, I went on a quest to find out what does God says about me. I didn’t want to settle with my thoughts and what the world seemed to be screaming at me.

For years I allowed these negative thoughts to rule my life. You know those thoughts that say your life will never get better. You’ll never be successful. You’re not worthy of love or anything good so just deal with it. So many fearful thoughts of what others thought about me. Fear of rejection. Fear of Failure. Fear of hurting other people’s feelings. Fear of external things like heights, horses, ziplining.

These thoughts consumed me and no matter how many times I tried to think positive and have hope it was like the enemy just kept knocking me down.

Until I finally said enough is enough!

I searched for scripture I could repeat over and over again until I believed what GOD said about me and not what the world or my thoughts were saying. It took time but I’m here to tell you that when you speak God’s word out of your mouth, hear it with your ears and allow it to take root in your heart…your thinking changes. Of course when you couple it with the P.U.S.H (Pray Until Something Happens) Prayer watch out because your life is never going to be the same again.

You start believing that voice that calms you, encourages you, leads you, guides you and wants you to know that you are so loved. As you read these scriptures, meditate on what God says about you. Close your ears to what the enemy tries to get you to believe and open your ears to what the Holy Spirit wants you to so desperately to understand.

Print this page out and every day I want you to repeat, out loud who God says you are. For we know that “Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.” So speak it forth and don’t stop until you truly believe in your heart everything he says about you.

Keep repeating them hour after hour, day after day, month after month or even year after year! Just repeat them as many times as you need so that you know that you know what our Abba has to say about you.

  1. Thanks for this post. It is not only encouraging for me, but a great tool for sharing. There is so much other noise in our lives, telling who we are and what we can and can’t do, it is great to go back and listen to what God says about us. Bless you.

    1. Erica, isn’t that the truth! Especially in this day and age with so much coming at us from all directions it can be so hard to hear God’s voice. That is why it’s so very important that we draw closer to him and shut out all the noise. I’ve had to do that since July of this year. Being in Social Media Marketing it was so hard to pull myself away from the computer. I noticed the first thing I was doing in the morning was reaching for my phone to check all my social profiles. It was a knee jerk when the Lord showed me that I had made Technology my idol and the first thing I should be doing was reaching for his word in the morning. Needless to say since July I have cut out my Social Media sites (for a season) and am totally focused on him and what his will for my life is.
Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving a comment. That means the world to me. 🙂

      Be Blessed,
      Audrey
