If you know nothing about me and this is the first post you’re reading on this site, one thing you need to know about me is that I am honest…to a fault. If that’s possible. lol
With that being said, when I started this little 30-day blogging journey in September I had no idea the struggles I would face. I didn’t know the time it would take or even think about the number of things that popped up with client’s sites and my own business.
The whole reason for me doing a blog post a day was to share everything God has been revealing to me about His “so that” moments and bringing Him glory.
Plus to just share what God places on my heart. I told Him that whatever I blog about I don’t want it to be from me I want the Holy Spirit to lead. So some days I’m just waiting on the direction as I seek the next blog post.
I had NOTHING at 7:30 pm this evening. I’m exhausted and haven’t felt well all day. I literally feel like I’m under a heavy spiritual attack and just want to go to bed. Being honest here remember?
Until I looked up at my wall to see vinyl I have above my sliding glass door that says…
Thankful ~ Grateful ~ Blessed
and I felt the nudge of the Father to write about that.
Not just to write about it but share scriptures and as I’m sharing scripture with you I’m speaking them out loud over myself.
Scriptures on Thankfulness and Being Grateful
“Praise the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.”
“Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind.”
“I will praise God’s name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving.”
“I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify your name forever.”
“I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and exult in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.”
“Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving;
let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!”
1 Chronicles 16:8
“Oh give thanks to the LORD; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the peoples!”
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”
Scriptures on being Blessed
Psalm 34:8“Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him! “
“Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name!”
“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.”
“The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine on you
and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you
and give you peace.”
Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you.
Taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
For I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess.
Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers,
and blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord.
There you have it. Some of the powerful scriptures that you can decree and declare over your life and the lives of your loved ones.
Y’all Be Blessed,
