Men see not the bright light which is in the clouds. ~ Job 37:21
Have you ever flown in a storm? I have and the image that I will forever have is when the plane ascended above the clouds there was blue skies and sunlight as far as the eye could see.
Anytime someone asked me what was up I would always respond with, “The Sky and it’s always Blue!”
Of course, my brother, who I lost to cancer in Aug. 2012 would always argue with me that when he looked up all he saw was the dark clouds without a trace of blue skies. We’d go back and forth until he would just laugh at how much he got under my skin. Oh, how I miss him. 🙁
If you think about it, in the darkest moments of our lives if we could learn to rise above and set our eyes on Jesus the gray skies would part and we could walk in the sunlight all the time. It really is a choice we get to decide.
Do we choose to stay on the ground looking up at the dark, dreary clouds or do we rise above and rest in the SON light while God leads and directs us in the way he would have us go?
What dark clouds have been looming over you? Is there something I can pray for you or stand with you on? Let me know in the comments below.
Y’all Be Blessed,
Audrey
