When I was 15 yrs. old I was able to go with my youth group on a ski vacation to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. It was then that I fell in love with that state.
Through the years I have always envisioned one day living there. Hoping to raise my children on acres and acres of land with horses, barn dances, great neighbors and where everyone knows each other.
Alas, that has not happened yet but I am still holding onto to the dream. It was Mother’s Day 2009 that my wonderful husband and I had an opportunity to head to Tennessee to shoot some VR Tours for a resort. We loaded up the kids and headed out for a quick weekend trip.
It was absolutely Beautiful… Calm…Serene…Quite…Breathtaking. Since losing my mom to cancer in August 2006, this Mother’s Day was especially hard but God was soooo faithful. While we were there we all got to experience seeing the end of a rainbow for the first time ever.
I put together this video really for me and my kids but this rainbow actually represents the LOVE that our heavenly Father has for each of us. That he would send me a rainbow to 1. Remind me of his promise to us all of never flooding the earth again and 2. That he knows my grief and is carrying me through it all.
I just love my God/Daddy/ Father!
Y’all Be Blessed,
Audrey
